When I first started windsurfing at the age of 12, I wouldn’t have dreamed it: that one day I would be able to support myself and my vision by doing what I truly love. Professional windsurfing fills my life 100% these days. It´s a hard job and to stay on top requires comitment and discplin. I am chassing my goal and my dream, to become the Formula Worldchampion…I am close and I hope to reach the ultimate triumph and finish on top of the podium this year.
With the support of my family, friends and sponsors I stay focused on my goal. Long term goals are the most difficult to achieve. You’ve got to stay on top of it all the time, every day counts. You can’t waste a single minute. Chasing sponsorships is a full time job in itself. I’m lucky to be sponsored by world class companies, who like me, strive to be the best at whatever they do.
My dream would be fulfilled, not only with a World Championship, but perhaps even more so, if I could in some way inspire youths in living their dream out to its fullest. It’s a question of being a good example, showing them that not only through training and self discipline but also through the use of a structured, professional approach, they can achieve anything. I’m convinced I can add that value.
